為什麼稱為聖心普愛會？聖心代表耶穌基督的愛，他普及每一個人，衪降生成人就是為了愛，願把衪的愛帶給普世的人，故此命名為聖心普愛會。
愛是耶穌來到世界上主要的使命，衪為了愛我們，犧牲了自已的生命，衪在聖經也教導我們要彼此相愛，特別是在那些窮苦的人身上實踐衪的愛，所以衪說：我餓了，你們給了我吃的，我渴了，你們給了我喝的；我作客，你們收留了我；我赤身露體，你們給了我穿的；我患病，你們看顧了我，我在監裡，你們來探望了我，我們的宗旨就是在這些弱小的兄弟姐妹上愛耶穌，實踐衪的愛德，不分國籍，不分宗教，不分種族，把基督的愛帶給他們。
Sacred Heart represent the love of Jesus Christ. Jesus loves us and he sacrificed his life for us. Bible teaches us to love one another, in particularly to the poor and needy. Therefore, our aim is to help the poor and needy, irrespectively of religions, nationality, race to bring the love of Jesus Christ to them.
The spirit of this Charity Services is the spirit of Jesus Christ. This charity organisation shall imitate the abundant sacrificial love of Jesus Christ, his humanity and kindness, and obedient to his father's will.
Our service is not out of sympathy and pity to the poor, but base on the love of Jesus Christ to bring them comfort. What they need is love and not sympathy and pity.
